Every kit comes with detailed instructions on how to use the materials provided. These resources are in addition to the kit instructions as there are inevitably a few questions you want to ask, sometimes before you decide to buy.

Fingerprint & Babyprint Jewellery - common questions:

Why do you say 6 months old is the minimum to create the fingeprint jewellery? A babys fingerprint is generally not fully developed until around 6 months old so your jewellery will not have clearly defined lines on it. Of course all children grow at different rates & if you are keen to try we can tell you if your imression has any lines on it before making your picec to ensure you are not disappointed. ICustomers who send impressions in without visible lines will be contacted & a replacement impression kit sent or refund offered.

What is the difference between sterling silver & the 99.9% fine silver used to create the fingerprint jewellery? Sterling silver contains copper which increases the strength & allows for a high shine to be maintained for longer. Fine silver is slightly softer but does not tarnish as quickly. All the lieces have the fingerprint pressed into fine silver with the necklaces & cufflink bars being made from sterling silver for increased strength.

Name Frames - common questions:

What size photo's will fit behind the letters? A 6"x4" portait photo is the minimum & ideal size to use behind each letter.

Can you add accents or apostrophes? No - unfortunately this is not possible. We can include numbers to create a birthday name frame - call us for details.

 

Regarding the inkless foot print kit- how many prints will it make and can you do it on any type of paper? The inkless footprint kits only work with the special wipe and specialist treated paper but once you have your prints you can scan them to print on larger paper if you need to. The paper in this inkless footprint/handprint kit is just under A4 and you can do as many prints as you can fit onto an A4 piece of paper before the wipe dries out. To get the best useage out of the wipe we recommend using it folded and then unfold as the print fades to get more of the solution.
